Behind the scenes of Sophie’s Voice

Goodness. Behind the scenes of Sophie’s Voice. I barely know where to start…

Okay, Sophie’s Voice is run from my desk. In my bedroom. Or from the kitchen table. Or on the move from my phone or tablet.

It’s not very professional – it’s managed in time with my family members’ lives and my (very) part time work as a digital marketing and social media consultant. To be honest, I’m just holding on by my fingertips.

The blog is run on lots of media channels and I definitely reach most people on Facebook. Every day there’s a good morning post. I love my readers and I try to make it as cheery as possible – except on Mondays. I’m not a fan of Mondays.

I love the time on Tuesdays when I schedule my little salutations for the week. It’s a bit cheesy, I suppose, but I wouldn’t mind waking up to a cyber smile.

After that I usually take my prompts from the things I see or here in the day. I’m most successful when I post at certain times and at certain frequencies but, if I have the time and the inclination, I like to go with the flow.

I think my blog is a little bit like my car, home and  wardrobe – messy. I have pet projects and I like to share other people’s news. In fact, you could say that it’s very much a reflection of me. Sociable, engaged and diverse.

  1. Lovely post, darling. I’m in awe that you are able to fit everything that you do in one schedule and still get some enough beauty rest. I am still struggling to fit my schedule as being an attendant and to catering to my blog. To think that I am not even a mother yet!
